Maintenance Engineer (Part-Time)
The Maintenance Engineer (Part-Time) position is responsible for providing technical and maintenance services throughout the hotel to keep the hotel's general equipment and systems in excellent condition.
The responsibilities include:
- Approaching all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintaining regular attendance standards.
- Having knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures.
- Performing routine preventive maintenance.
- Assisting with preventative maintenance and completing report work orders.
- Assisting in checking electrical systems.
- Assisting in checking and making routine repairs and assisting on major repairs of all hotel equipment.
- Service the hotel's pool.
- Maintaining the building exterior.
- Refurbishing furniture and fixtures within guest rooms.
- Responding in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests.
- Operating heavy machinery.
- Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts.
- Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them.
- Assembling, installing, and repairing wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Performing maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Communicating with other departments pertaining to guest room conditions.
- Maintaining clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms.
- Performing other duties as requested by management.
- Attending or all/training/meetings as required by management.
