Position SummaryReporting to the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Coordinator will provide support for studies in asthma and cystic fibrosis.
ResponsibilitiesInitiate IRB applications for clinical trials in asthma and cystic fibrosis.
Recruit study participants via advertisements.
Schedule and conduct study visits.
Manage communication with participants.
Perform data entry and ensure data integrity.
Interact with study monitors and liaise with contracted institutions.
Attend investigator and coordinator meetings.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience, plus two years of related experience
Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of pulmonary function testing and sweat chloride testing
Other RequirementsParticipation in the medical surveillance program
Contact with patients and/or human research subject
Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
