Position OverviewThe Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Child Care/Child Welfare Licensing Background Check Specialist.Under general direction, this position will provide input into regulating, monitoring, and controlling the Departments Child Care and Child Welfare Employee Licensing Background Check Unit, serving as liaison between the licensing workers and employers in facilities licensed by the Department.The position will develop and provide comprehensive complex, database reports, utilizing extensive knowledge and understanding of multiple software programs.
