Job Description :
The Assistant Director of Finance supports the Director of Finance in overseeing all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure optimal profitability and compliance with internal and external standards. This role collaborates closely with department heads to provide financial insights and maintain the highest level of fiscal responsibility and guest service excellence. Primary Duties:Assist the Director of Finance in managing the hotels full-cycle accounting operations in accordance with the hotels financial policies and procedures. Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely submission of financial statements to the companys regional offices. Record and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies timely.
