Trolley Driver (Part Time)
: Job Details :

Drives the Yorktown Trolley along a fixed route that continually travels between the Colonial National Historical Park and American Revolution Museum at Yorktown with intermediate stops throughout historic Yorktown. Greets the public and provides information on local attractions. Assists passengers getting in and out of the trolley and operates a wheelchair lift as necessary. Maintains record logs of passengers, mileage, and fuel use. Performs common preventative maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, checking fluid and fuel levels and tire pressures. Cleans interior and exterior of Trolley. The Trolley operates daily from March through the end of October, with select dates offered in November through February. Minimum Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent and some experience driving vehicles ranging from 15-passenger vans to 50-passenger trolley buses.
