SALARY GRADE: Flat Rated - - - This position is time-limited, grant funded, full-time. - - - - - Funding for this position will end on June 30, 2025, with funding to continue through June 30, 2026. - - The Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, Mecklenburg County, seeks an individual to serve in the position of Deputy Clerk in the legal system of North Carolina. Deputy Clerks perform specialized clerical and administrative work in a Clerk of Superior Court office that involves interacting with the public, processing initial filings, continuances, judgments, and maintaining case documentation. As a Deputy Clerk, you may perform a variety of duties such as, but not limited to, the following:Process cash receipts. Review, prepare, and process criminal and civil cases including misdemeanors, infractions, divorce, child custody, and juvenile cases.
