: Job Details :

Operate extra-corporeal circulation equipment during procedures requiring artificial support or the temporary replacement of circulatory or respiratory functions. Prepare for procedures by performing patient assessment. Perform perfusion and other procedures including the monitoring of the patient's anticoagulation, electrolyte, acid-base and blood-gas status throughout procedures and takes appropriate action to resolve imbalances. Perform assembly, maintenance, cleaning and calibration of equipment and maintains adequate supplies. Provide proper documentation of assessments, activities, and procedures. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Perfusionist credentialed from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
