EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Chief Engineer in Washington, DC to provide operations and maintenance support for the American Chemical Society in Washington, DC. Must possess a valid 1st or 3rd Class Steam Engineer License issued by the District of Columbia. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. The scheduled hours are: 6 am - 2 pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and support small on-site staff, setting daily priorities and ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality maintenance work. Manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across heating and cooling infrastructure. Perform hands-on inspections, adjustments, and minor repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, including air handlers, VA - Vs, pumps, and boilers.
