This is professional work conducting violation of supervision hearings, inmate interviews, and clemency investigations to provide the Florida Commission on Offender Review, and in the case of clemency investigations, the Executive Board of Clemency, with information pertinent to cases under consideration. EXAMPLES OF WORK Conducts probable cause (parole only) and final violation hearings for alleged parole, conditional release, addiction recovery, conditional medical release and control release violators. Provides alleged violators with an initial interview to advise them of the charges and their due process rights and assess the need for appointed legal counsel for the alleged violator. If a hearing is requested, schedules the hearing, obtains witness information, issues subpoenas to secure the attendance of witnesses and the production of documents, etc. Conducts violation hearings and makes written recommendations to the Florida Commission on Offender Review.
