The Vehicle Compliance Services Unit is looking for a motivated and proficient individual to fill its Motor Vehicle Compliance Technician position. You must be current on your state and federal tax filings and pass a criminal background check. Principle Duties. As a Motor Vehicle Compliance Technician, you will: - Receive, research and process incoming applications for titles and/or new license plates - Verify documents for applicability, completeness, and accuracy - Issue license plates, permits, registrations, etc. - Process transactions at a Point of Sale system, give correct change and close till at end of shift - Respond to incoming questions or complaints via telephone and email; provide information, explain policy and procedures, and/or facilitate a resolution - Enter impound records - Assist the public and others in completing forms, applications an...Technician, Vehicle, Motor, Compliance, Automotive
