The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead its premier safety programs, Zero Fatalities and Safe Routes Utah. The Statewide Behavioral Safety Program Manager is responsible for leading the Zero Fatalities program, a statewide safety initiative with the ambitious goal of eliminating fatalities on Utah's roadways, and the Safe Routes Utah Program, which educates elementary age children about pedestrian safety and encourages safe walking and biking to school. This position directs a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to traffic safety that combines Education, Enforcement, Engineering, and Emergency Medical Services (the 4 E's). The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader capable of developing and implementing strategic campaigns and collaborating with a wide range of public and private partners to change driver behavior and save lives.
