Oversee the implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining of all automation equipment. An important competency in this position is the troubleshooting of PLCs, robotics and automation. Success in this role will be demonstrated by meeting safety and quality standards while driving revenue increases through improved automation processes. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Works on the programming, implementation and troubleshooting of site PLCs, robots and HMI.2. Evaluates current manufacturing equipment/controls/robotics, resolves problems and makes recommendations for improvement. This includes performing preventative maintenance of production and support equipment .. Writes and edits machine control programs to interface process equipment to safely operate production equipment (i.e., program light guards) and avoid malfunctions. 4.
