The Director of Regional Volunteer Programs is responsible for developing and executing strategies to actively engage alumni within specific domestic geographic regions, fostering strong connections with the institution by organizing events, cultivating volunteer leadership, and building relationships with alumni communities across different locations, ultimately aiming to increase alumni participation and giving back to the university. The director leads a team of engagement officers who oversee the identification, recruitment, cultivation, and stewardship of volunteers and develops, plans, and implements events and digital engagement based on where constituents reside. He/she sets strategic plans in partnership with the Assistant Vice President other Advancement staff, with an emphasis on broad alumni outreach, in collaboration with academic units in Advancement and all schools at the University.
