The Route Driver maintains responsibility for representing Sterling Technology in his/her assigned territory. Responsibilities include driving company vehicles, often pulling a trailer, picking up colostrum from local dairies and storing the colostrum appropriately in warehouses. The loading and unloading of colostrum is an essential function of the Route Driver. The ability to maintain an efficient and predictable flow of scheduled pick-ups at each dairy is essential. Continuous and effective communication with dairies, other route drivers, the Branch Manager (where applicable) and the National Procurement/ Sales Manager is critical.
