The primary responsibility of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk is to receive, verify, enter and record shipping and receiving data into the inventory control system. This information may consist of packing slips, bills of lading, purchase order receipts, or spreadsheets containing pertinent information. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will also perform duties as a Shipping/ Receiving Forklift operator such as: pull orders of product from bays within the warehouse area and load the product into trucks to be shipped to the customer. Unload product from trucks to be stored in bays within the warehouse area. This is to be done with the use of an industrial powered truck such as a forklift and box clamp lift. All employees must follow all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code of conduct and safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles.
