Responsible for planning and executing process validations, workflow improvements, and equipment installations while collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving lean initiatives.Job Responsibilities
- Lead improvement projects for products, equipment, processes, and layouts.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and validation strategies.
- Review and improve product designs for manufacturability.
- Implement lean manufacturing and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Validate and implement new tools, equipment, and quality controls.
- Conduct time studies and recommend production standards.
- Estimate manufacturing costs and support prototype evaluations.
- Create and maintain manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
- Train staff and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers on technical issues.
- Uphold Positronic's standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
- Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
- Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
RequirementsEducation and Experience:
- Mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or related degree
- 2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination
Physical:
- Regular walking, standing, sitting, climbing, bending, and crouching
- May lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Use of hand tools, technical equipment, and standard office technology
