More than half of our job openings are filled by internal promotion, and we encourage team members to gain a variety of experiences across different functional groups.Job DescriptionPay Rate: $17.50 per hour.Fill storage requisitions as requested by Plants 1 & 2 and deliver same materials to plantsPerform daily, inventories and prepare reports as required on all packaging materials, spices and operational suppliesMaintain warehouse and warehouse equipment in a clean and orderly manner according to USDA standardsCommunicate and problem solve with and through production supervisors, forepersons, Central Supply, Purchasing and SchedulingMaintain records (Daily Issue Log) of materials received and issuedReceive proper documents from outside vendors and submit through proper channelsCommunicate any shortages of materials to immediate superiorMaintain Control of material wasteStage issue point with materials for all production shiftsAssists in the unloading and loading of equipmentHelp maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.QualificationsMust be a high school graduate or equivalent Must be able to organize and work independentlyMust have good communication/interpersonal skills, which includes ability to read & write in EnglishMust have mathematical aptitude to maintain control of inventoriesMust possess a valid California driver's license with a good safety recordFoster Farms Safety License requiredMust be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stack boxes above shoulder levelMust be able to climb laddersMust be able to climb in and out of trucks repeatedly during shiftMust be able to submit and pass a criminal background checkAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Foster Farms is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minorities, Females, Veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.Foster Farms participates in E-Verify during the hire process at all locations for all new Team Members.
