: Job Details :

Performs radiologic/ CT procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images practicing ALARA standard. Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas. Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfaction patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure. Performs all procedures according to departmental protocol. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education: Evidence of Radiology Technology training from the United States Military or graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences is required.
