Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency. Provides support to youth receiving services to ensure that the youth's voice is heard throughout all phases of treatment. Uses personal life experience to establish credibility and infuse hope for a better future., Demonstrates unconditional acceptance, and models life skills. The Youth Partner participates in program and community meetings to maximize youth voice and involvement throughout the service delivery process. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 1. Provides support to youth and families in achieving their treatment goals. 2. Strategically utilizes personal life experience to demonstrate that recovery and resilience is possible for youth served by the program. 3. Engage youth and families in ways that demonstrates understanding of the youth and family perspective and creates a positive connection and support through the service delivery experience. 4.
