The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for providing the Cardiologist surgical assistance, patient monitoring, and performing complete diagnostic requirements under the supervision of a cardiologist to manage the patient through the invasive procedure. The Cardiovascular Technologist will assist the Physician in the safety of the patient through monitoring and performing diagnostic testing. They will also work with the Physician during the procedure to provide the surgical table requirements and necessary supplies in the circulator role. Job Functions 1. In coordination with nursing staff, provide patient care through education, support and treatment. Carries out all functions in assisting the Cardiologist during the exam. 2. Is responsible for preparing the procedure table with all necessary supplies and a knowledge of all supplies available should they be needed during a procedure. 3.
