Surgery Center of Allentown is a freestanding ambulatory surgery center. We are committed to safe, high-quality, patient-centered care delivered by a highly engaged team. We are currently searching for full time Certified Sterile Processing Technician to work 40 hours per week Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities are requisitioning all autoclaving supplies, instruments, and implantable devices used in daily operation of the department and equipment used in patient care. Competency in performing sterilization process including decontamination, assembly, packaging, and the biological and chemical monitoring of the sterilizers. Ensure proper logging and documentation of the sterilizing processes. Properly utilizes and abides by the Instructions for Use (IFU) supplied by the manufactures for sterilization of equipment.
