Provides support for all Customized logistics activities. Supports the Regional Logistics Manager, Carrier Operations for administering the freight-sheltered income program while ensuring timely delivery of shipments. In addition, enlists and qualifies various carriers and manages the claims and pallet recovery programs. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Position Responsibilities:Planning, Optimizing and Execution for all outside carrier loads / orders. Uses MS Excel to analyze and breakdown data for customer usage, item cost, shipping unit cost (L - Bs / Cube / Pallet) and identify opportunities and issues that need to be addressed. Handles daily operational tasks and communication with carriers, shipping locations, purchasing team and PFG distribution center staff. Review daily purchase orders to build optimal consolidations to achieve maximum revenue.
