Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in on-the-job training experiences tailored for military members through the SkillBridge program. Prepare candidates for roles such as Executive Director or Associate Executive Director, focusing on people, operations, and clinical management.
  • Manage all operations, serve as contact for staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, provide direct resident care as needed, and fill staffing gaps.
  • Maintain resident satisfaction and retention through high-quality services, problem-solving, and issue resolution.
  • Execute renewal programs and collaborate on annual budgets, minimizing variances and meeting occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Hire, train, discipline, and terminate staff in accordance with policies.
  • Ensure property standards through inspections and maintenance oversight.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and licenses in compliance with regulations.
  • Foster staff creativity, act as a Resident Counsel member, and develop positive community relations.
  • Utilize sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy.
  • Oversee resident admissions, healthcare management, and documentation compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience required; leadership experience in military or related civilian roles preferred.
  • Valid administrator license in applicable states; valid driver's license and access to a vehicle required.
  • Use analytical skills from military service to solve problems and manage departments.
  • Knowledge of industry, organization, and technical areas; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, delegation, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, vision, and interaction with people.
  • Occasional weekends, evenings, or nights; on-call basis; exposure to communicable diseases, hazards, and potential injuries.
