Site Reliability Engineer

Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Level: Junior, Mid-level, Senior, Staff and Technical Manager

Location: Manhattan, New York City (3 days in)

Comp: $200,000 - $300,000 basic salary + highly competitive performance bonuses (can be discussed)

Level: Junior to Senior hires

Tech stack: Python, Golang, C++, Rust, Java, Linux

We're looking for Site Reliability and Production Engineers to join a small, multi-skilled engineering team within the foremost quantitative trading firms in New York City. These teams provide critical support, software development, performance engineering and general automation solutions to enhance the effectiveness of all development and trading teams. These are hugely collaborative teams that integrate across the business to proactively source issues and provide software solutions.

About you

• 2+ years of experience within a site reliability, production or software engineering team
• Strong proficiency in software development in any common language
• Experience in live troubleshooting, code fixes, performance projects, and distributed systems
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• An intellectually curious mindset and deep interest in problem-solving
