- Serve as an on-camera and in-arena representative of the Buffalo Sabres during home games.
- Host live in-arena promotions, intermission features, and fan interviews to enhance the game day experience.
- Interact and engage with fans throughout the arena, encouraging crowd participation and fostering a lively, positive atmosphere.
- Work closely with the game presentation team, including co-hosts, stage managers, mascots, and other performers, to execute in-game entertainment elements.
- Deliver scripted content confidently while also improvising as needed during live moments.
- Attend game day meetings and rehearsals prior to each home game.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in hosting, announcing, or live performance; in-game hosting experience is a plus.
- Strong on-camera presence with a balance of professionalism, approachability, and charisma.
- Ability to adapt quickly to live show changes or unexpected events.
- Skilled in using voice and body language to create excitement and positive energy.
- Deep knowledge of the Buffalo Sabres and National Hockey League rules is preferred.
- Must be available for all Buffalo Sabres home games and have flexible working hours.
- Able to accept and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the team, both in-person and across social media platforms.
