Job DescriptionJob Quick Facts:• Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)• Job Type: Locum Tenens• Facility Location: Dover, DE• Service Setting: Outpatient• Reason For Coverage: Supplemental• Coverage Period: Mar 28, 2025 - Ongoing• Coverage Type: Clinical only• Shifts Needed to be Filled: - Mar 28 - Apr 25• Shift Schedule: 745a-230p• Patient Volume: 12-14• Patient Demographics: 16+ yrs old• Support Staff: For each procedure, there will be 1 Surg Tech, 1 SPD Tech & 1 CRNA.• Physician in Practice: 1 in procedure room with CRNA.• Case Mix: Complete Ortho, Head Spine, Pediatric & Regional.• Required Procedures: - Perform Colonoscopies & Endoscopies & a combination of both during 1 procedure. - General Anesthesia: Adult, Pediatric - Spinal Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia Surgery, Neurological Cases (Spine), Complex orthopedic cases. - Pain mgmt techniques, Post-op extremity blocks, Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks & Ventilation mgmt.• EMR: Cerner• No. of OR: 1• Other Info: - Advance equipment is the ability to intubate a patient if needed; No other emergency mgmt equipment. - Would stabilize & immediately transport patient to our local hospital across the street from the center.• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance coveredRequirements:• Active DE License• BC/BE• BLS, ACLS, PALS
