As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Tax Manager to help lead their tax practice, support their expanding client base, and shape the future of the firm.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage tax planning, preparation, and compliance for individuals, partnerships, S corps, and small businesses
- Review and file federal, state, and local tax returns
- Conduct client meetings to provide strategic tax advice and planning
- Manage a growing team of junior staff and contractors
- Implement and improve workflows using cloud-based accounting tools
- Stay current on tax law changes and apply them proactively for client benefit
- Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor

Requirements:
- CPA license
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of federal and Texas tax law
- Experience with Lacerte, Xero/QBO, and other cloud-based tools preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping shape a growing firm
