Associate Project Coordinator

Maslansky + Partners is the leader and creator of Language Strategy. Our clients come to us to communicate more effectively on challenging communication issues, including corporate reputation and branding; public affairs and issue advocacy; new product launches and repositioning. We deliver strategic counsel based on rigorous research to help them achieve their business objectives.

Our project teams work on fast-moving projects all over the world that require regular client engagement and coordination and benefit from support from a growing universe of partners, freelancers, and vendors.

The Associate Project Coordinator will work with project teams to help us deliver better outcomes and client experiences by making us more efficient and more effective in our project logistics and operations.

Responsibilities

Process development and implementation:

We want the Associate Project Coordinator to uphold current project-related processes and coordinate the day-to-day logistics of project work between our project staff, field management, quantitative, finance, and media teams.

Effective project coordination:

The Associate Project Coordinator will be assigned to a selection of projects at different stages of completion. The APC will be a member of these project teams responsible for:

• Upholding project timelines, processes, and internal resources
• Coordinating meeting and/or research technology with the project team and client
• Scheduling internal and external meetings, check-ins, and/or research interviews
• Effectively communicating with team members and other internal stakeholders
• Acting as the primary connection point with our internal field management, media, finance, and intern teams to manage project needs.

Best practices and continuous improvement:

Our agency is focused on constantly improving how we operate and building our knowledge base as a source of competitive advantage. The APC will play a vital role in this effort by:

• Upholding and identifying best practices and opportunities for project teams to improve their effectiveness and efficiency.
• Proactively communicating project updates and process opportunities with the project management team.
• Scheduling and managing project debriefs to identify lessons and content that can be applied to future clients and projects.

Qualifications

What you should bring:

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 1 years' experience working in a role that required heavy logistic coordination and project tracking, agency experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent abilities in organization, professional communication and diligence.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a love for process
• Excellent ability to proofread and edit documents and presentations
• A positive, can-do, proactive attitude
• Strong ability to communicate with, motivate and influence varied stakeholders; to manage conflict, and to build consensus.

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Maslansky + Partners in New York City. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 $70,000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
