The Role:

DLC is on the hunt for a Legal Assistant to join our team at our Corporate HQ office located in Elmsford, NY. Reporting directly to the Senior Paralegal, the Legal Assistant's duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Document review and processing
  • Update lease transaction database
  • Respond to inquiries regarding leases
  • Prepare billing reports
  • Prepare default notices and other correspondence
  • Assist with the preparation of lease documents
  • Provide other support to the Legal Department
Our Next Legal Assistant Has:
  • Bachelor's/Associate's degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

The expected salary for this position is $60,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
