Staff Nurse RN Critical Care Float

This role supports the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center Critical Care inpatient units including the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Step-Down Units and more. Nurses in this dynamic role support the state-of-the-art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns by recovering post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU and by playing a critical role in maternal emergency response.

*This position offers experience, education, float pool, and night shift differential on top of your base pay.

Preferred Criteria:

• Minimum two years' experience as a Critical Care RN, SDU experience, and Cardiac Surgical experience
• Experience with caring for Post-Cesarean Section patients/Obstetrical emergencies

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current NYS RN licensure
• BCLS and ACLS certification
• Proven experience to work autonomously in high pressure situations

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range: $128,149-$146,972/Annual
