Sr. Director, Solutions Advisory

As a Sr. Director, Solutions Advisory you will manage a portfolio of interrelated technical products that exist within the Per Scholas technical environment. Your work will include all facets of managing the product lifecycle: Evaluation, Planning, Implementation, Adoption, Support. You will work cross-functionally with various departments based on product assignment, with the goal being to ensure the successful implementation and support of your products; this creates a unique opportunity to navigate enterprise-level technology challenges, departmental business requirements, financial management, and user experience/ stakeholder management.

What you'll do:

  • Utilize Product Management framework to assess business challenges, and partner with functional teams to define requirements for technical products.
  • Manage selection of Technical Products, followed by the process of their Development/ Pilot/ Implementation
  • Support Products throughout Organizational Lifecycle, focusing on improvements to functionality, feature expansion, and overall product adoption
  • Plan and manage projects related to portfolio of assigned technical products
  • Utilize Business Analysis skillset to ensure compete understanding of business/ technical needs, limitations, and objectives
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Technical SMEs, Finance, Users, and other relevant stakeholders to validate product business cases
  • Able to track and report against projects in an appropriate context for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Create, and maintain, relevant Product documentation and training
  • Conduct user training and facilitate feedback sessions on products
  • Conduct requirements gathering workshops related to user needs for products
  • Create user personas and user stories related to technical products, effectively defining intended uses for products
  • Track utilization metrics of Products, addressing challenges preventing adoption of implemented products
  • Engage vendors on user challenges, upcoming features, and relevant changes affecting implemented products
  • Identify business cases for assigned products, informing user management strategy
  • Evaluate proposed products based on a combination of business, technical, user, and financial considerations; making actionable recommendations based on evaluated products
  • Cocreate Long-Term Technical Suite Vision with IT/IS SMEs and Senior Management

Who you are:

  • Adept relationship builder, doing so across multiple disciplines/ departments
  • Proven leader with demonstrated ability to navigate Change Initiatives, Technical Implementations, or Product Lifecycles
  • Process-Orientated professional with ability to create and maintain effective documentation, training material, and product/project management artifacts
  • Self-Directed individual with the ability to proactively manage assigned products according to their current needs
  • Strong communicator, with strong abilities for verbal and written communication, and formal presentations
  • Technologically Experienced, with prior knowledge on User Experience
  • Enjoys collaborating with experts to proactively identify and solve challenges
  • Desires the opportunity to lead with influence, and exercise autonomy with boundaries of product cope
  • Interested in leveraging Artificial Intelligence, and cutting-edge technical solutions to enterprise-level challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-10 Years in a Leadership Role involving either:
    • Software Product Lifecycle Management
    • Technical Project Management (Product Implementation)
    • Product Adoption/ Technical Change Management
    • UX or UI Design Leadership
  • 5-10 Years experience working with key stakeholders to define requirements and implement vision
  • 3+ Years in a role utilizing Business Analysis skills (to evaluate products of any kind)
  • 3+ Years in a role utilizing Change Management skills (involving the adoption of new tools/processes or as part of a larger organizational transformation project)
  • Strong Preference for Experience in Education or Workforce Development Organizations
  • Some Preference for individuals with Salesforce experience/familiarity
