Visitation Coach

Multiple openings, hiring immediately at Family Place Visitation Center. The Salvation Army of the Syracuse Area offers a full-time position at $23.00/hour with benefits.

The Visitation Coach role involves monitoring visits for parents with children in foster care, providing educational and clinical resources to participating families.

Position details include full-time employment with access to a comprehensive benefits program after completing the first 90 days of employment. Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

• Provide comprehensive intake and evaluation of prospective clients.
• Monitor and assess visits between children in foster care and their biological parents.
• Document all family interactions during the visits.
• Provide feedback relating to issues that surface during the observed visit(s).

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Child welfare and/or child development experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to provide culturally competent practice.
• Valid NYS driver license.
• Access to private transportation during work hours.
