We're currently seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Pipeline Coater / Laborer to join our pipeline construction team.Job Summary:This position involves supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas pipelines and related facilities, with a strong focus on pipeline coating application. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and coating, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in pipeline installation and repair, including trenching, pipefitting, backfilling, and applying protective coatings
  • Prepare surfaces for coating through grinding, sandblasting, or other surface prep techniques
  • Apply coatings to ensure corrosion resistance and compliance with project specifications
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools (grinders, wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.)
  • Load and unload materials and equipment on job sites
  • Follow all company and customer safety procedures and wear proper PPE (hard hat, gloves, metatarsal boots, etc.)
  • Keep work areas clean and compliant with safety and environmental standards
  • Work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in pipeline construction or industrial labor (preferred)
  • Experience with protective coating application and inspection (preferred)
  • Familiarity with coating standards (e.g., NACE, SSPC) is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to work overtime and travel to remote job sites when needed
  • Safety certifications (OSHA 10/30, PEC Safeland, etc.) are a plus
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is also a plus
Working Conditions:
  • Outdoor work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
  • Physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, crouching, and digging
  • Work may require travel to remote job sites and overnight stays
  • Extended hours and weekend work may be required to meet project schedules
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
  • Stand, kneel, walk, and climb for extended periods
  • Work in confined spaces or at varying heights as needed
  • Perform repetitive physical labor in field environments
