The Service Delivery Technician plays a crucial role by providing physical support for data center equipment within a critical environment. This role involves engaging with customers, employees, and vendors, performing installations, and troubleshooting tasks as needed.

Iron Mountain Data Center is seeking team members who are keen to learn and grow in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is a full-time shift role, with potential requirement for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift work.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on support for various requests within the data center, including racking servers/network equipment, cabling, and customer installations. On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Monitor and respond to the service management ticketing system for assigned tasks during your shift, including customer requests, escorting, trouble tickets, material handling, and installations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues in the data center environment.
Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies:
  • Experience in customer service or data center environment preferred (0-2 years).
  • Ability to multitask, as we utilize multiple systems to manage ticket queues and priorities.
  • Attention to detail is critical; must be able to follow documented processes and safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • A dedication and desire to learn, with aspirations to grow a career within Iron Mountain.
  • A customer-focused mentality; we prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Opportunities for overtime work may be available.
  • Working hours are varied and may include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • The ability to pass a government or agency background check for security clearance may be necessary for customer support roles.
