This is What You'll Do:
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., FDA approved Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP) to maintain high production standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and a positive donor experience aligned with our company values.
- Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in your work area.
- Review and confirm donor identification while ensuring confidentiality.
- Prepare equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
- Label units and samples accurately and execute venipunctures and plasma collections safely.
- Operate automated plasmapheresis machines, including monitoring alarms and donor conditions.
- Ensure donor safety and the quality of plasma product throughout the donation process.
- Handle biohazardous waste disposal and maintain safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on automated machines and report any unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and assist in training new team members.
- Complete other job-related tasks as assigned.
This is What It Takes:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Any specific certification or licensing according to State requirements.
- A minimum of three (3) months' experience in a medical or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to understand and follow protocols.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including daytime, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven ability to perform venipunctures.
