Williams College is excited to announce an opening for a Mechanical Trades Technician. This is a full-time, year-round, regular appointment reporting to the Mechanical Trades Foreman. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 pm. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department, which may include on-call assignments, emergencies, and overtime.
As the Mechanical Trades Technician, you will support the mission of the college to provide a nurturing educational environment. You will complete maintenance work orders assigned to the Mechanical Trades teams. You will perform a critical role in ensuring business continuity on campus. The decisions made by this role have the potential to prevent unplanned asset failures, which cause disruptions, unexpected costs, and performance issues.

Application review will begin on October 16, 2024, and will continue until the position is filled. Pay range is from $31 to $38 per hour, commensurate with experience.
