Job Posting: Cath Lab RN – Jefferson HealthSchedule & Shift Details

• Shift: 4x10-hour days (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• On-Call Requirement:
  • One weekday call shift per week
  • One weekend (Friday–Sunday) every 4 weeks
  • Holiday coverage: one summer and one winter holiday
• Block Scheduling: Not permitted
• Orientation: 20 hours (8 hours non-billable)
• Pre-approved Time Off: Up to 2 requests

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year Cath Lab RN experience
  • Experience with conscious sedation required
  • Telemetry and ventilator experience preferred
• Certifications:
  • Required: BLS, ACLS
• Charting Systems: McKesson and Cerner
• License: Active PA RN license required at time of submission
• Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted
• Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
• Scrubs: Provided
• Floating: Not required

  • Coronary artery disease (CAD), heart failure, liver disease, myocardial infarction (MI)
• Procedures Include:
  • Left and right heart catheterizations
  • PCI, chronic total occlusions
  • Impella, Protek Duo, IABP
  • Shockwave, OCT, IVUS
  • TAVR, MitraClip
• Skills Required:
  • Circulating procedures (required)
  • Scrubbing and monitoring (preferred)
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation, ventilator monitoring
  • Procedural sedation administration
