HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Description & Requirements

Title - RN - PCU

Duration - 13 weeks

Shift - Nights 3x12-Hour

Location - 2401 W Belvedere Ave Baltimore, MD 21215

Facility - LBH - Sinai Hospital

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year PCU/Telemetry experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Unit Details:

• 48-bed cardiac telemetry PCU
• Primary admissions from ED, cath lab, and other inpatient units
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 4:1 (may increase to 5:1 based on unit needs)
• Team nursing approach with PCAs (CNAs) and LPNs
• Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover

Clinical Expectations:

• Proficiency with drips: amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, nitroglycerin, lasix, and insulin
• Post–cardiac catheterization care experience required
• Timely discharges, hourly rounding, and bedside shift reports for all patients

Additional Information:

• Floating as needed
• Every other weekend coverage
• Scheduling based on unit needs
