Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Contract Type: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Weekly Breakdown:

Weekly Gross: $ 2,853.00 Per Week

On W2(Taxable): $ 1,152.00 Per Week

Stipend(Non-Taxable):$ 1,701.00 Per Week

Requirements:

  • License: Valid California RN license in hand at submission
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience (required)
    • Must have both labor and postpartum experience
    • Travel experience is required; first-time travelers not accepted
    • Precepting experience strongly preferred
  • Patient Ratio: 1:3
  • Charting System: Epic (Required)
  • Certifications (Required):
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • AWHONN Intermediate
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • AWHONN Advanced

Labor & Delivery:

  • Circulate for C-section
  • Sterile vaginal exams
  • Triage obstetrical patients
  • High-risk antepartum care
  • LDRP management
  • Fetal monitoring (IUPC use and calibration)

Medications:

  • Insulin drips
  • Magnesium Sulfate therapy
  • Anticoagulants
  • Antihypertensives

Procedures:

  • IV therapy / Phlebotomy
  • Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC)
  • PPE / Isolation precautions

Unit Details:

  • Unit Type: Labor & Delivery / LDRP

  • Daily Census: 12
  • Facility Births per Month: 200–300
  • Patient Ages: Neonates, Adults
