About the company:

A 40+ years established General Contractor headquartered in Northern Virginia are looking to hire a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to work and deliver tilt-wall industrial warehouses portfolio across the local region. We are looking to interview Project or Senior Project Managers with 5+ years of industrial warehouse, logistics and manufacturing construction experience. Successful applicants will have commercial general contracting experience.

Your new role:

As a Project Manager, you will manage a portfolio of new build industrial construction projects in the Northern Virginia market, potentially Maryland down the line. The projects are large greenfield site industrial projects consisting of build to suit/tilt wall flex industrial warehouse, distribution centers, food and beverage or logistic/packaging facilities.

Your involvement in these projects will be from concept to completion, working with the clients development team in buyout and preconstruction, through to full project management oversight including having the responsibility for the financials of your projects.

You will be supported by a team of administrators, project accountants and Assistant Project Managers and work side by side the field management team. The mid-long term career potential for this position would be to move into a Project Executive and have a team of Project Managers across multiple projects report into you.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 8+ years of construction experience, either working for a general contractor.
• 8+ years of experience of working on build to suit/tilt wall flex industrial warehouse, distribution centers, food and beverage or logistic/packaging facilities.
• A 4-year college degree in Architecture/Interior Design, Engineering or Construction Management is highly preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate and manage the general contractor, design and engineering personnel and other associated vendors.
• Proficient in software including Procore, Primavera P6 and Bluebeam.
• Comfortable working and visiting job sites across Northern Virginia.

The benefits to you:

• Base salary up to $165k range, depending on experience/skill set.
• Yearly project and bonus plan payout, taking the total compensation for this role north of $200k
