National construction firm TI Builders is currently hiring a Project Engineer to join our growing team in our Nashville (Franklin), TN office. Do you know your stuff? Responsibilities
- Assisting PMs and estimators with project documentation, take-offs and materials quotes
- Calling subcontractors to check if they're bidding or have any questions
- Holding site/job walks
- Addressing and sourcing any necessary temporary facilities (e.g. storage containers, dumpsters, mobile restrooms, equipment)
- Transcription and distribution of budgets, RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, and change orders
- Assembling project close-out documents
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience as a commercial - not multi-family or residential - estimator
- An innate understanding of the tenant improvement process and commercial construction project management
- Strong writing ability and excellent verbal skills (we value honest, open communication)
- The ability to perform well and grow under limited supervision
- Proficiency with MS office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and Monday.com
