Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or residential construction projects ranging from $1M to $10M. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage subcontractors, clients, and internal teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets design specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, delays, or cost overruns and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and documentation are obtained and maintained.
  • Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Safety Oversight: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company safety policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
  • Closeout & Handover: Manage punch lists, final inspections, and project documentation for successful client handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably on $1M–$10M projects (commercial, residential, or mixed-use).
  • Certifications: PMP, OSHA 30, or LEED certification (a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar construction software.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, contracts, and construction best practices.
