Site Performance Leader
GE Vernova, a company in Amarillo, TX focused on creating renewable energy, is looking to hire a Site Performance Leader to join their team. The Site Leader oversees daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity align with and exceed customer expectations. This role involves leading teams, maintaining compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry regulations. Key duties include managing material flow, supervising staff, fostering team development, driving continuous improvement, and monitoring performance metrics. Additionally, the Site Leader collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency, control costs, and uphold quality standards while achieving business goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the performance metrics including all safety, quality, productivity, cost and people metrics defined in our customer Scope of Work (SOW).
- Develop and implement strategies to drive value to our clients through process improvements, cost savings, and employee engagement.
- Coach and mentor all levels of the site team, so that they can understand and deliver on all KPI's.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities to drive additional value to the Client, especially in Value Share.
- Build the relationship with the Client's Site Leadership Team, resources and operation teams.
- Build positive relationships with all client stakeholders incorporating regular touchpoints to keep a pulse with each.
- Lead implementation and execution of the site's Tier boards, including daily/weekly/monthly review of trending metrics that will drive future actions.
- Prepare and present monthly Scorecard Reviews, highlighting actual results, successes and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Advise and assist in conducting employee performance evaluations and coaching/counseling in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of experience in the manufacturing industry in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience leading or directing a teas with a large organization
- Ability to influence others from line-level employees to executives through effective communication
- Demonstrated track record of success in leading initiatives that drive new approaches around productivity, safety and employee retention and engagement
- Possess attributes of self-motivation, solution-focused, self-direction, strong decision-making, detail orientation, thrives in fast-pace and collaborative environments, acts with a sense of urgency, will always do the right thing
Compensation & Benefits:
- For this position, you will be paid $38-41/hour, plus a bonus
- Hours are Monday – Friday 6am – 3:30pm ; Must be willing to work weekends as needed, including on-call(additional compensation for on-call hours)
