Pediatric Physician Assistant (PA), or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)

We are seeking a Pediatric Physician Assistant (PA) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time position in an outpatient non-profit community health center, specializing in integrated care. We have a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on clients and the community, giving access to essential services, including behavioral health, primary care, dental, and case management. Highlights:

  • Requirements: Master's Degree, Active Connecticut license, Minimum 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a community/public health setting, Understanding of child development and behavior, Excellent communication skills, Covid-19 vaccination required
  • Responsibilities (for children from birth to adolescence): Conduct routine check-ups, immunizations, and screenings, Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, injuries, and other health issues, Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic illnesses (e.g., asthma, diabetes, ADHD) Provide counseling and support to parents on nutrition, behavior, and child-related concerns, Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care, May supervise student interns and/or residents in clinical settings
