Description The White Moustache is an artisanal yogurt maker based in Brooklyn, NY. We seek a well rounded, patient, and culturally sensitive human resources coordinator to work with and for our international team of creators. This position is 15-20 hours a week and pays $25-$30 per hour depending on experience. POSITION SUMMARY The HR Coordinator aids with and facilitates all human resource processes and is adept at optimizing, creating, and socializing processes. The HR Coordinator continually drives efficiency and has amazing follow-up skills. HR Coordinator acts as a liaison between employees of White Moustache, our benefit providers, and Gusto our HR platform. This position resolves benefits, payroll, UI, WC, and LOA concerns and ensures effective and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Coordinator ensures that policies are administered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and entry into the Gusto platform. RESPONSIBILITIES •Assist Managers in all hiring needs, including initial screening, scheduling interviews, liaising with hiring managers and facilitating offer letters. •Lead onboarding process (forms, policies, signatures) via the Gusto platform •Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. •Responsible for document collection and maintenance of personnel files for all employees •Administer and help manage the annual employee review process •Manage PTO and company calendar •With direction from Fractional CHRO make annual update to Employee Handbook •Maintain a high standard of service and culture in all correspondence. •Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action. •Assists with processing of terminations and performance corrections. •Makes photocopies; mail, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. •Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. •Generate reportssuch as retention, training effectiveness, labor budgeting, overtime analysis •Special projects as assigned. •Assists with various administrative duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: You are part of the team that is intellectually curious and enjoys the challenge of helping our employees succeed. Your skillset includes the following: •Strong writing and speaking skills •Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Word, PPT, Excel) •Dependability with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude •Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling edits •High level of organization •Approachable, friendly, and passionate about connecting with employees of all levels •Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work on time SUCCESSFUL CRITERIA •Demonstrate a commitment to quality, accuracy and thoroughness •Versatile in handling multiple tasks simultaneously in accordance to highest priority •Your team can rely on you to get tasks and initiatives completed in a timely fashion •Eager to learn as well as to take on new assignments and proactively help out employees •Demonstrate a desire to learn about White Moustache Culture EDUCATION •Bachelor's degree in human resources or related fields preferred. •At least two years' related experience required. •SHRM-CP credential preferred.
