The Accounts Payable position is responsible for ensuring all bills are paid in an efficient and timely manner. Accounts Payable provides administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and keeping a record of it. Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
- Responsible for reception, review and registration of all the invoices received from suppliers and creditors, according to the established process, in close collaboration with the purchasing department.
- Follows-up of invoice approval flows.
- Corrects, reviews and manages the payment flow in a timely manner.
- Manages credit card payments and invoices to external collaborators.
- Verifies, follows-up and registers Interco invoices and their monthly balance of balances.
- Communicates incidents detected to those directly responsible.
- Calculates the provisions in each accounting closing and follows-up on the same.
Academic Training:
- Higher university degree, mainly Economics or Business Administration and Management.
- Studies level: University Education (Bachelor's Degree)
- Studies area: Economics/Management and Business Administration/Administration and finance
Position Requirements/Experience:
- 5+ years practical experience working in a similar position
- Prior experience working with multiple entities and bank accounts
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Excel - required
- Navision - preferred
- Accounts Payable system experience (Concur - preferred)
