Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VP, Delegated Claims Manager to oversee the activities of independent Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) working on our behalf. The primary focus of this role is to support the prompt settlement of claims in line with company appetite and policy provisions, through continued engagement with TPAs and contribution to individual loss management. To be successful in the role the VP, Delegated Claims Manager will work closely with our internal claims team and coordinate with adjusters managing each account to ensure efficient and effective claims processing.
In addition to focusing on proactive settlement of claims, the role holder will be required to develop deep relationships with TPAs to ensure that knowledge, expertise and best practice is shared as appropriate, and that all processes and practices are both appropriate and robust such that the best possible service can be delivered as an extension of the RenaissanceRe claims team.
Principal AccountabilitiesIn collaboration with members of the London Claims team, support the establishment of contractual relationships with selected TPA partners including delivery of training around RenaissanceRe claims handling and reserving approach.
Provide support in the strategic oversight TPA performance:
Lead partner engagement meetings to discuss output of above processes (and to agree plans for any changes/improvements required).
Provide strategic oversight of TPA claims portfolios through regular in person engagement to support proactive/tactical management of claims with aim of prompt resolution.
Monitor and analyse activity across portfolio to support identification of thematic issues, opportunities for improvement and the development of insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive engagement with internal legal team to ensure:
Identify training/educational needs for both TPAs and colleagues and support/facilitate delivery

The fulltime base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 USD per year; base salary offered may vary based on job-related knowledge skills, and experience.
