Specialized Store Analyst
Reporting to the Director of Allocations, the Specialized Store Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving our store inventory levels. The primary responsibility will be to analyze and interpret trends in store performance to provide actionable insights. These insights will contribute to the rebalancing of the current inventory as well as guide refined execution of future New Store allocations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze patterns in sales and build strategies for unique store groups (Strategic, Women's Led, JD's, climate, demographics, region, state, tourist, hyper local).
- Recommend and propose actions to the allocation team for inventory opportunities based on store selling trends
- Oversee store capacity levels and rebalance inventory across chain where needed
- Liaison between Regional Directors/District Managers/Stores & Allocations
- Validate store callouts and adjust store rules on the allocation system backend to refine future allocations and meet store needs
- Responsible for building ad hoc reporting and managing special projects independently
- Cross functional teamwork with the field, allocation, buying, planning & store operations daily
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Management, Fashion Merchandising or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in regional or location planning- a focus on retail is preferred
- Proficiency in data analytics tools project management software (Excel required Looker BI preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to self-manage time and performance against deadlines. Strong analytical skills and self-motivated
