We have a unique opportunity for a Crisis Management Underwriting Assistant to join our team at the Mt. Kisco, NY office. This is not your typical health or auto insurance roleour work focuses on high-impact, specialized coverage that addresses global risks and dynamic client needs.

As a key contributor to our entrepreneurial underwriting team, you will support strategic account management and the full underwriting lifecycle. Fluency or professional proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is strongly preferred due to the international scope of our portfolio.

Performance Objectives:

  • Process new submissions: During the first 60 days, learn how to process new submissions received, including: assigning a quote number, conducting an OFAC search, and tasking to the appropriate underwriter. Submissions will utilize approximately 50 percent of the Underwriting Assistant's time and are processed daily.
  • Handle renewal solicitations: During the first 60 days handle monthly renewal solicitations by reaching out to brokers for renewal data. May also assist underwriters in the preparation of risk profiles and quote letters.
  • Become fully acquainted with the product: During the first 90 days, develop an understanding of Crisis Management policies and endorsements.
  • Provide administrative support: On an ongoing basis, help underwriters in the preparation of risk profiles, quote letters, binders, and other tasks, as needed.

Your Background:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant and progressive office/clerical experience.

For candidates working in Mt. Kisco, NY the reasonable pay range for this specific position is $45,500 - $58,000 annually. The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
