Main duties include identifying, gathering, and analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the county through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables, and reports. Preference may be given to candidates with advanced knowledge of SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI, or have led data analysis campaigns previously. This position is onsite with the capability to work remote one day per week after training period. Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.Duties and Responsiblities Strategy & Planning •Support development and implementation of new data models and supporting systems. •Assist in developing long-term data analysis, data storage, and capacity planning to meet future data analysis software and hardware needs. Acquisition & Deployment •Conduct research and make hardware and software recommendations in support of organizational data analysis efforts. Operational Management •Own delivery of analytic projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on-time and meet the business requirements. •Complete work with a high attention to detail to support accurate conclusions and predictions. •Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements and perform essential project management tasks related to assigned projects. •Develop strategies to collect required information to meet organizational requirements. •Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. •Develop, Deploy, Maintain, and Support data models, dashboards, and other visuals to meet the needs of county departments. •Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques. •Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets. •Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with people of varying technical backgrounds. •In depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques. •Knowledge of SQL server and/or experience with other applicable relational database technologies. •Locate and define new process improvement opportunities •Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. - Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; and
